Loving Forever Homes Needed

PPAWS has many cats and dogs in need of good homes. These animals are mostly abandoned and stray animals, and many have come to us for veterinary care after being rescued with an injury or illness. All our cats and dogs available for adoption and foster are healthy, desexed, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and assessed by our veterinarian immediately before going to their new forever home.

If you are not able to adopt an animal, you can make a huge difference by fostering a cat or dog while we find them a permanent home. Interested in being a fosterer?

Meet Our Rescue Cats

Momy

Momy is a very affectionate and friendly girl who is friends with all the cats in the shelter, and cuddles up to all our team and volunteers. Momy is everyone’s best friend; she is full of love, has the softest fur and would make an amazing cat companion.

Can you Adopt Momy?

Raly

Raly is one of our more shy residents, but she is friendly with people once she gets to know them, or if they have creamy treats! She loves to lounge and enjoys the company of other cats at PPAWS, so she should be happy in a home with other cats.

Is Raly the cat for you?

Poppy

Poppy came to PPAWS after a terrible accident, needing one of her back legs and part of her tail amputated. Poppy has had a long but successful recovery and is getting used to life on three legs. She is very friendly and ready for her forever home in September.

Can you take Poppy home?

Mama Krahom

This sweet cat was saved from being attacked and later gave birth to a litter including her daughter Chhmar. They lived indoors for 5 years, and are looking for a kind home for their next chapter.

Can You adopt Krahom?

Chhmar

Chhmar is the daughter of Krahom, she spent her whole life living indoors before being surrendered to our shelter. She is a sweet, friendly and playful cat. We would love Chhmar and Krahom to stay together.

Can you give Chhmar a home?

Chichi

ChiChi was surrendered to us with severely infected eyes that needed to be removed. He has lived without sight for most of his life and is very confident and playful. We are looking for an experienced and supportive family for him who does not plan to move frequently, as home changes can be difficult for blind cats.

Can You adopt Chichi?

MAPLE

Maple was rescued on one of our missions, after escaping from a dangerous environment. Maple is receiving treatment for FIP, but is playful and friendly and doesn’t appear unwell. She would do really well in an adoptive or foster home with someone who can give her daily medicine, with support from PPAWS.

Can you give Maple a home?

LADY

Lady was rescued from a pagoda with a wound on her face and some small health issues. She has now recovered, is doing really well, and she is so ready for her forever home! Lady is a Shorthair, or Shorthair mixed-breed cat. Lady is sweet, calm and is very friendly with people as well as other cats.

Can you Take Lady Home?

RUBY

Ruby is a very sweet and friendly cat who is desperate for her forever. Ruby came to us for recovery after a trap-neuter-release program, but her territory was unsafe to release her back to, so she has stayed with us. She is a smaller cat who is very cuddly. She is waiting for her forever family to come and get her!

Aiyo

Aiyo is one of our more shy and reserved residents, but she is warming up to people. She is still young, and with the love and care of a patient and kind adoptive home, we are sure she will open up and become a loving cat friend. She just needs to be given a chance!

Cleo & Boba

Cleo and Boba were rescued on one of our pagoda missions, and Boba was the kitten of Cleo’s litter who survived the deadly Parvovirus. These sweet, friendly and playful cats are now living with a fosterer in Siem Reap, but they are looking for their forever home!

Can you adopt these cats?

Pumpkin

Pumpkin was abandoned at our shelter when he was unwell, and has been with us ever since. He’s a young cat who is now fully recovered and healthy, friendly and just loves cuddles and affection!
*Pumpkin is currently living with fosterers*

Star

Star is a very fearful and reserved cat. She is friendly and sweet with other cats, but she is scared of people. She needs a loving home with patient and calm carers who can make her feel safe. Could that be you?

AKako

Akako is quite fearful after her early life experiences. She is friendly with other cats, she loves sunbathing and snuggling with her friend Aiyo. We would love her to find a home with a patient and kind carer.

Cup

Cup is one of our older and more reclusive residents. She is cautious and fearful after some scary experiences when she was young, but we hope she will meet a kind, patient person to love her.
